About the Artist Panel:
The Artist Panel is responsible for the exhibition schedule at Artlink. The panel is made up of 15 professional artists and two student representatives from Indiana Purdue University Fort Wayne and the University of Saint Francis. The Executive Director of Artlink chairs this committee. Each artist represents a different media to ensure the exhibitions are broad in their scope. The panel meets once each month to review and plan exhibitions. The Artist Panel selects and juries entries unless otherwise noted on the prospectus. The jury criteria is listed below. Each panel member may serve two consecutive three year terms.

Artlink will consider the following four elements when selecting work for exhibitions.
Consistency of work presented by the artist.
Does the work present a consistent theme or technique of media?
Quality of work presented.
Does the work demonstrate craftsmanship, attention to detail, professional presentation?
Creativity or Conceptual quality of work.
Is the work submitted creative in its content and overall projected meaning?
How well the work submitted relates to the theme or intent of the exhibition..

Artlink is a not-for-profit contemporary visual arts gallery, one of the few in the state of Indiana not associated with a university or artist's co-op. Artlink sponsors eight original exhibitions per year in the Main Gallery and eight exhibitions of artist members in the Hallway Gallery. |
